Hello old friends and new ones too

Wow...it's been such a long time since I've posted anything related to Begone / the Begone Brotherhoood community / SSNC.
I'm not really sure where to start.
My most recent post on BB was on the 7th of December 2012, so it's been over 8 months.

I realize there may be some people here who have never met me. First off I'd like to apologize for not being around to meet you, and let you know that I'm happy to chat and get to know any / all of you. Shoot me a PM here or on BB. (:

A little background about me:

• I'm a 20 year old kid from Michigan, USA
  
• I played Begone for at least a year and a half, maybe a couple years
  
• I was in Honor, and then left to come join the wonderful people here at SSNC
  
• I've helped organize 1v1 ladder matches, the Begone Brotherhood Olympics, and other various clan battles
  
• At one point I was an active forum moderator over on Begone Brotherhoood
  
• I love steak
  

For those of you who already know me...hi.
Tonight, I read through all of my old Begone Brotherhood posts.
Reading all those old discussions really took me back. Let me just say, holy crap guys, we had some really fun times and good games. I cannot express how much I appreciate this community and especially the amazing people here at SSNC.

Obviously I've been gone for 8 months. Sorry about that guys!
A lot has happened in that time. This has been hands down the most difficult and trying year of my life and I have feel that I've fundamentally changed as a person. If you want to hear more about that I'd be happy to chat about it -- but that's more appropriate for private messages.

I haven't stopped playing games though! I've been obsessed with one game in particular -- Tribes: Ascend. I've really tried to dive into the community there, but there is one simple problem; everyone in that gaming community is an asshole. As much as I try to get involved there, I just don't like the other players the way that I like you guys.
I truly believe that this community is unlike any other. In other gaming communities, I have to work to "get in". Here, I have always felt at home.

I miss the days of goofing around and having fun in-game and in the chatbox. I miss the organizing clan battles and arguing about if third person is unfair or not. I miss this place and I miss all of you. If I could give all of you a hug, I would.

Anyways, I guess what I'm trying to say is that the prodigal son has returned. I hope that you guys will take me back (and maybe even kill the fatted calf, yes?). PLEASE message me here or on BB or Skype (dawgplz) and get in touch. I'll be around as much as I can.
I'll also be posting a copy of this on the BB forums so I can get in touch with everyone there.

As you can see man, i am back as well, been around for, 7-ish months

As for Tribes, i was looking at that game some time ago. If your into it, you should post some info about it, we could probably get some people to play.
